Long shirt-dress in eyelet

I bought this dress in both blue and lemon. I wore the lemon color to church and received multiple complements. I wish the white was available in my size.

Beautiful and classic design. The fabric is soft and color bright white. Perfect for a cocktail party, shower or special event. I have received many compliments on it every time I wear it. This is a very special dress and can be worn to an upscale event or to more casual night out (add flat sandals). I love it so much I might get one in another color!

I got this in the citron color, absolutely love the color--it pops in the sunlight but is not fluorescent. Edgy with the softness of eyelet, which I love. Perfect. A note on fit--hope this helps. I am a solid size larger waist down but can usually wear my top size in J Crew dresses. This dress fits but is a bit tight on top, and I'm extremely short waisted and small on top. If you want more comfort or have anything larger than a B cup or C cup no padding, get your size waist down, or at least don't size down. I had to tweak it after trying on, and it was night and day by doing so. Pulled out the belt and laid it flat (wide) across my back and waist, before knotting it. Absolutely had to untie and re-tie much tighter the sleeve ties. (Even though there's no extra room in the tie, you can kind of tie it into the fabric--untie it and then pull as much as you can of the fabric into the knot when you re-tie it). This made all the difference.

I have an obsession for white eyelet dresses. They scream "summer" to me. I had seen this dress in store but did not buy, I went back today and purchased. It was not available online in my size. Beautiful lower calf length depending on your height. Fully lined in cotton fabric. Well made. For reference I am 5'8" and 140 pounds, 36D bust and needed the size 12 for my shoulders since there is no stretch. I wear a size 6 in most pants but I can never get the rest of me in a size 6 dress. It always amazes me when someone with the same measurements posts a review saying they bought their usual size 4. Whut??? This dress was available in 3 colors but I bought the white.

Ok so I must say that I am not a typically sized person. I am 4’ 11.5” (5’ with my hair) and I like either long maxi dresses or slightly above the knee shorter dresses. I don’t care for the midi. I did not get a petite in this dress and I love it!!! It hits my lower ankles and I adore it. It’s lined and is of a good weight to justify the price. I definitely got it on sale because...that’s a given. I am petite and curvy. 30/32-25-34 I ordered a size 0. Again...I am not a typically sized person but I loved this dress!!!
