Long-sleeve midi sheath dress in Italian ponte

Bought a 0--I'm 5'8" with an athletic frame (broad shoulders and some junk in the trunk with a smaller waist). It fit PERFECTLY and I wear it to work when I need to look polished! I have two other simple ponte dresses from J. Crew from 5-6 years back that still always get compliments, though the ones from back then had this incredible thick fabric. This fabric is still high quality and better for the warmer seasons, so I am happy. Got the black.

When something like this has great colors and a great design; could you at least make double or triple the usual number that u would normally make. PLEASE

I like this dress but it ran a big tight on me. I'm 5'6" 128lbs 34b. Depending on style I usually purchase either 2 (slip dresses) or 4 in sheath or body conscious knit dresses. I'm proportionally bigger in thighs and butt, smaller upper body.I can wear the dress , purchased size 4, depending on circumstance. Saturday night dinner date , yes! funeral...no! It's clingy in a sexy way but the material is substantial so it doesn't look cheap being snug.

I love J Crew and this dress was such a unexpected surprise! I mean that in a very good way. I opened it and it looks like a well made, simple dress. I pick it up to try it on and it’s heavier than I expected. It’s not heavy-the dress has substance. I try it on and it’s perfect! This dress is cut for a woman’s body! The dress is very flattering and is very versatile. I almost didn’t buy this gem; I added it onto my order at the end. I’m so glad I did!!!!

Nice dress, heavy fabric but cut for a tall person. I’m 5’5”, 140 and ordered a 12 due to the reviews. Fit everywhere perfectly but as a good 12” too long. And shortening it would not have worked with the cut.

Ordered my usual size 00, and the dress fit like a glove. Fits true to size. Love the tailored pencil skirt and sleeves.
