Sexy and Sophisticated Black Dress
August 26, 2025This dress is elegant, comfortable, and flattering style, which made it a perfect choice for an evening wedding I attended. It is the perfect balance of simplicity and sophistication and fits true-to-size without being too restrictive. The ruching is very flattering ruching in the right places. Glad I purchased this dress on sale. Would’ve regretted not buying sooner!

Cool dress, needed alterations
February 6, 2025I am 5'4", 120lbs, and a 34 C/D. I typically wear a size 4. I bought this in a Small, and while the top fit great and the length was perfect, the bottom flared out at my hips and made me look huge. It was really bad. I took it to a local tailor who took the dress in at the side seams by several inches and it's a lot more flattering now. It was an easy $20 alteration. I got this for a black tie wedding, and as another reviewer noted it's not as dressy in person as it looks on the model. It is super comfortable though, and a great cool and dressy basic to have in my closet. And I'm still planning on wearing it to the wedding!
