One-shoulder viscose-blend velvet dress

Very well made and fit size 6 perfectly. Plenty of room for wide hips, but drapes nicely. The sleeveless side is just the right amount of snug for B/C. Enough wrap that doesn't show anything too high. I waited to purchase because this color usually is not flattering on me at all, so I bought it on clearance thinking I could risk to dip dye it a navy or deep green. However, I will leave it as it is really rich and flattering with a bit of a warm glow which feels a bit forest magic that will be beautiful especially at night. I think it would look well with boots or heels, casual or dressy. It's very soft and comfortable and functional. My only complaint is the zipper. It runs smooth and well but it is placed a bit behind the shoulder under the arm and usually zippers under arm or in back are easy to do, but this one feels like you're doing a bit of acrobatic behind the one arm reach and I almost needed help to get it all the way up. However, I would happily buy it in more colors!

I bought this on clearance, which is always a gamble. But this dress is gorgeous! Also it’s true to size; I’m a perfect J Crew 4 and this dress fit me like a glove. The color is lovely. I’m so glad I got it!

I ordered this dress in my true to size 12 and honestly I should have ordered a 14 or 16 to have it drape the way it did on the model. I couldn’t even figure out how to zip it. So bad and final sale.
