Pretty blue shirt dress

September 4, 2021This is a final sale item to pass up. I definitely over paid for a hotel maid dress with snaps at the waist (why tho) that do not stay closed. This is a basic poorly designed and over priced cotton dress that appears to be made from an old McCalls pattern.

Waist Waste
August 26, 2021I like the overall style of this dress, the color is also very good on me. The frustrating part is the waist! It’s way too small for the size and those pins indeed are coming undone within seconds of snapping them together. The sale is final so no return or exchange…disappointing.

Cute, great for summer, but oh the snaps!
August 26, 2021Love this dress with one crucial exception: The waist is fastened with two tiny snaps. The snaps constantly come undone. The dress fits, but the snaps are not sturdy enough to stay snapped, so I had to use a safety pin to keep the dress together. I wish I could wear this everywhere, but not being able to keep the snaps closed makes me less likely to, and I may need to get a tailor to fix this for me.

Problem with the Waist!
August 20, 2021Tried this on in the store, and it’s a lovely shade of blue but the waist runs small. It’s made worse by the snap closure, (think bra keeps), that should have been a hook closure at minimum. The snap will not stay closed unless your waist is significantly smaller than your shoulders. Going up a size would make the dress look matronly. Bummer.
