Arm Holes Are Very Big
May 30, 2023I love this dress...the fabric, color, style. But why are there so many sleeveless items this year with huge arm holes? I took it to a seamstress but she did not think she could fix it because of the way the arm holes widen in the back. If I could find a satin-type cami in the same color that might work. But the arm holes would still pouch out. It does run large. I'm usually a medium and the small fit fine. I'm not taking a chance on the no return sale items anymore.

Please Make in Different Colors! I love this!
May 5, 2023This is a home run for me. Shift dresses look great on my hourglass figure, and I love this one because I can wear a button-down shirt underneath to carry it into fall. Plus, the top is not a cutaway, so no real issue with showing bra straps! The pleated skirt? Yes! J. Crew, make more in different colors of this style of dress!!! Win, win!

Cute but not for me
April 20, 2023The picture online sold me, but when I received it I found it to be way too big (size down!) and lacked shape. The material is closer to a chino, rather than a cotton poplin so it would be best suited for (Midwest) springs rather than summer. I decided to return.

Cute but runs big
April 15, 2023The pleats were what drew me to this dress. They give style to what would’ve been an ordinary shift. I ordered my usual small but it was way too big so I returned and purchased the XS which is perfect. However, for me the one drawback is the color. It’s sort of a light beige, kind of blah, and blends too much into my pale skin. However, I really love the style of this dress so I will jazz it up with a colorful cardigan and cute sandals. J Crew please make this dress in more colors!
