Pocket T-shirt dress

Pros: - Easy to dress up or down - Lightweight enough for summer, but good for fall with a denim jacket! Cons: - Wish it came in petite. I’m 5’2 and the xxs hits just above the knees. Would’ve liked it an inch shorter rather than having the high side slits - Material is pretty thin; outline of panties can show through

I'm always surprised when summer comes around and it's difficult to find a t-shirt dress that has a tailored, yet casual feel. This one checked all my boxes: it skims my figure just right (meaning it actually comes in a tiny bit at the waist - most t-shirt dresses I find just go straight down the sides which looks blah) and it has side slits on both sides for just enough detail and movement at the bottom. In other words, this is the t-shirt dress you put on and you realize why all the other t-shirt dresses you tried on before just didn't do anything for you. I am 5'3", 120 pounds, 26" inseam. My petiteness comes into play with my shorter torso. Being that I do have a short torso, dresses usually bunch a bit at my lower back since I don't have the normal height proportions to fill them out, but I did not have that issue with this dress. I'm happy to have finally found a great, simple t-shirt dress that I can elevate a bit with a blue gingham headband, simple earrings, and nicer sandals.

This dress is super comfy but the slits ran higher than I anticipated. It appears mid thigh but if you're curvy it falls a lot shorter.
