Pocket T-shirt dress

Pros: - Easy to dress up or down - Lightweight enough for summer, but good for fall with a denim jacket! Cons: - Wish it came in petite. I’m 5’2 and the xxs hits just above the knees. Would’ve liked it an inch shorter rather than having the high side slits - Material is pretty thin; outline of panties can show through

I'm always surprised when summer comes around and it's difficult to find a t-shirt dress that has a tailored, yet casual feel. This one checked all my boxes: it skims my figure just right (meaning it actually comes in a tiny bit at the waist - most t-shirt dresses I find just go straight down the sides which looks blah) and it has side slits on both sides for just enough detail and movement at the bottom. In other words, this is the t-shirt dress you put on and you realize why all the other t-shirt dresses you tried on before just didn't do anything for you. I am 5'3", 120 pounds, 26" inseam. My petiteness comes into play with my shorter torso. Being that I do have a short torso, dresses usually bunch a bit at my lower back since I don't have the normal height proportions to fill them out, but I did not have that issue with this dress. I'm happy to have finally found a great, simple t-shirt dress that I can elevate a bit with a blue gingham headband, simple earrings, and nicer sandals.

This dress is super comfy but the slits ran higher than I anticipated. It appears mid thigh but if you're curvy it falls a lot shorter.

Never enjoyed wearing men’s large t-shirts at home like some women do. This little dress is perfect fit and length and looks decent, for indoors. Because t-shirt fabric is a bit thin, it can be worn with the right blouse over it out of the house. Being garment dyed the colors fade over time. They haven’t shrunk in the past, (Been getting these for a few years now, have them in light periwinkle, dark periwinkle, and navy blue) This year’s version is cut smaller than previous years. In the past I’ve got an extra small or extra extra small and they both fit. This year I got the extra small and it’s just fits. Don’t know yet if this year’s version shrinks haven’t washed it. On super sale this is a great item.

Very nice casual dress to wear around the house but also ok to run errands. Light , cool, and comfortable.

Bought dress in navy. It is not too sheer which is important for me with summer dresses. The cotton is not too thick though so great for those hot humid East Coast days of summer. It fits me perfectly in the shoulders and comes an inch or so above my knee. The slits may be a bit high on my short frame I just make a point to take smaller walking steps. This would be a good day to night dress. Easy to dress up with jewelry. The material is a bit thin though so I hope it will wash well and not shrink.
