Great holiday dress
January 19, 2022Love this dress. It fits true to size. Perfect length. Sleeves look great. Love the fabric and the plaid. Have the same plaid in the e same full sleeves and they fit similarly. Wore with the suede green loafers also from JCrew.

Classically Cute
January 10, 2022I read the reviews and decided to purchase it anyway. I am glad I did. I LOVE it. I'm plus size and quite curvy. I ordered the 18 and tried it on over a long sleeve tee shirt and yoga pants and it fit. I can only imagine how marvelous it will look when I try it on properly. I am impressed with the fit and the quality of the fabric. I am5'5" and it hits around the middle of knees. I can't wait to wear this out.

Odd proportions indeed!
December 25, 2021I was so looking forward to get this dress, but was disappointed when I received it finally. First of all, it's way, WAY too short. I managed to elongate it by adding a layer - a slip from Free People - that sort of made the length a bit more acceptable.. Still, it's too short even that way. Now about the top: The neckline is SO open and low, that if you are a full-chested woman, it'll all be a bit too... in your face. The sleeves are very puffy, yet manageable. The way the skirt connects to the bodice is kind of sloppy and unflattering. So.. really, the only thing I liked about the dress is the color! Other than that, it's a huge disappointment. JCrew, please think about who is your target clientele and who you are designing for. If a dress is size 10-12, perhaps, the skirt should be made just a bit longer, and the neckline - just a tad less deep-cut. Just saying!... Sadly, I am returning.
