If you sew, buy this dress!
February 26, 2022Most of the reviews have identified the problems with this dress. Here are 2 solutions: Take a 2"tuck at the sleeve seam which then pulls up the sleeves under the shoulder in a more attractive way while still giving height to the shoulders- 80's style without shoulder pads Lol! Or take the sleeves off and make a cap-sleeve sheath. I may make a pair of shorts or a sarong skirt out of them because I really like the fabric!

Bad Fit
December 2, 2021Listen to the other reviews (like I didn't). Terrible fit, drop puff sleeves make you look like a linebacker. It's oversized in all the wrong places don't waste your time ordering.

Friendsgiving Dress
November 18, 2021I really wanted to love this dress and ordered it to attend a Friendsgiving event. I have dozens and dozens of J.Crew dresses and rarely return. I am tall with broad shoulders and can easily carry off even the puffiest of puff sleeves, but not this one. The fabric is average quality, and the dress is lined, but the way the shoulders drop before the puff of the sleeves gives it a sloppy and ill fitted look that's just not flattering. Sadly returning.

Weird Balloon Sleeves
November 13, 2021I ordered this dress in a size S ( I normally wear S or XS ). While the length of this dress works well even for petite sizes the balloon sleeves are just way too enormous! Maybe this dress looks better on tall women but on women 5'3"- 5'5" it just looks ridiculous. It is as wide as it is long and makes petite women look like a cube!
