Puff-sleeve wool sheath dress

I ordered this dress in Peony Malange and it looks nothing like the color in the picture. It's more of a soft purple. I still like it, but I really wanted the pink dress. The sleeves are fantastic and it's flattering, although runs slightly large in the waist and hips in my opinion. The wool is a nice, four-seasons weight and it drapes well.

This dress is very classic and will never go out of style. I love the puff sleeves which is what makes this dress different from other sheath dresses. I love the colors. Jcrew, please keep this style coming for the classic ladies. Definitely not your grandma sleeves .....

I bought a 4P which is my usual size, in the peony color. The fabric and color are amazing but this just didn't work for me. I am 5'3", 117 and rather small up top so the balloon sleeves dominated my petite frame. I felt like I was wearing my mom's dress which isn't exactly the look I was going for. If you have a bigger chest, I think it would help balance out and be a perfect fall dress.

❤️ everything about this dress. Bought it in a peony melange in 12– my usual size. Good fit. Really flattering cut for accentuating curves & hiding unflattering tummy lumps. Nice and thin but quality wool suiting material. Petite ladies with non-petite shoulder and chest frames who find petite lengths unfulfilling will appreciate the length of this dress. I’m 5’2”. This hits me at my knees. I assume if I had gotten a petite, it would have been a tighter chest fit & the dress would have looked like a mini-dress.
