May 1, 2021Cute sailor boating dress. Celebrate your day out by the water or just feeling nautical. I'm 5'3" ordered XXS and it runs a little longer than on the model. I wish the sleeves were a little shorter, but it's not that big a deal. It's nice that it keeps you warm when it starts to cool in the evening and your regretting your shorts and top outfit sitting on a seaside patio.

High quality just size down
May 1, 2021High quality sweater dress that can be dressed up or down. Because it is a substantial material it weighs it down. Definitely go smaller than your usual size. Love the length and buttons so you can choose your level of exposure. I got both colors!

Great dress for summer fun
April 25, 2021This dress-so cute, great fabric and fit. Classic that hugs your curves but in no way does it cling. Put on a strappy pair of sandals, gold hoops and you're out the door. I love it. Always thankful for J Crew's true fit sizing.

Light and lovely but runs very large
April 22, 2021The dress is nice but runs very large. If you were going for a sheath, body-con style dress, go at least 2 sizes down. Depending on the model, the dress looks quite figure-hugging, but I think the images are misleading considering that the models look slim and there's no way these sleeves are that tight on those arms. I'm 5'8 and weigh 120 pounds with 24 inch waist and 36 inch hips. XS fits me in my bust and hips but is a little loose around the waist. The sleeves are very loose. I usually wear S-M in other brands, so was a bit worried ordering the xs. Turns out I should have gone with the xxs. The material is light and soft, great for spring and maybe summer too depending on your region. The stripe pattern is flattering. My suggestion is that J.Crew lists what size which model is wearing to prevent confusion.

Nice suprise
April 8, 2021I ordered a size S instead of my usual size XS thinking that XS might show all the bumps since it's Sheath silhouette. But I received a XS in the mail and it actually fits perfectly LOL. Soft and stretchy material. It creates a fitted relax look. Although it has a little bit of weight to it, it should be good for summer also because the material is very breathable. For reference, I'm 5'2, 118lb, 32C, usually XS for tops and S/27 for bottoms, XS or S for dresses depend on the style. This dress hits my mid calf, slightly longer than it shows on the model but still a good length in my opinion:) Hope it comes in more summer colors.
