Ruffle-back silk dress in Stewart tartan

Got this on a major sale and for the price I like the dress. If I had paid regular price I would have been disappointed. The material is thin and leaves much to be desired. But the fit and the cut are cute. You can’t really tell from the model but the ruffle is visible from the front. I will probably wear this for our Christmas pictures this year.

Bought on a final sale Hail Mary and wow! I went up a size bc there is no stretch and it is perfect. 160 lbs, 34C, size 12. It skims my body just right. Adjustable straps for fine tuning. Walking slit makes movement easy. My plan is to add a silky turtleneck under the dress so I can wear a regular bra and not be chilly (without putting a jacket over that gorgeous back).

Not sure how I feel about the dress. Is it silk? Yes. Will I feel it? No, because the lining is 100% polyester. It also generates so much static. Slightly sheer and not quite long enough. Bought on final sale so no return.
