Ruffle-hem sweater-dress

I’m 5’1” and usually wear an 8 or 10 in petites in Jcrew, so ordered a large and it fits very odd. The sleeves are baggy and long and the fit over all is not in proportional. I wouldn’t size up even if it’s fitted.

LOVE this material! It’s not like a typical sweater dress more like a black knit pant material it’s amazing hope they make more dresses out of this material. I got the black scoopneck dress as well and it’s same material, so perfect structured but very stretchy but firming, thin but definitely not too thin and will feel comfortable wearing in fall/ winter. I’m 5’2 100lbs and took XXS. Length is perfect on me. Love this and the Jcrew black scoopneck dress on site. Get them both!!!

I am a huge fan of JCrew sweater dresses, this one is lovely. Since I am short at 5'3" the dress hits mid knee which I like a lot being an older woman. The fabric is soft and stretchy but retains the fit without being stretched out. I like the VNeck which has a nice drop but doesn't show too much of the girls. The ruffle hem is playful, what a fun addition to a sweater dress. I like to wear my dress with a fun pair of cowboy boots, turquoise necklace, bracelets, a Navajo concho belt at the waist and a denim jacket.
