Cute and fun
February 6, 2023I'm between the size XS and S, and purchased, despite the other reviews, the S. unlike the other reviewers, I find it true to size, it is slightly big because are supposed to be pleats once tied…I find it flattering and very cute (and I'm far from being shaped like a Christmas tree as someone has suggested). I wish I had purchased the yellow one too! (As a reference: I’m broad shouldered and slim)

Bag sold as a dress
January 11, 2023This is awful, it looks like a bag with a tie around the waist. The quality isn’t bad but I don’t love the fabric. It runs very large. Final sale so I can’t return.

Huge
January 9, 2023Totally agree with other review. I’m 5ft 103#, bought the XXS for the fact that it’s cotton and leopard print but it’s huge, stiff (maybe washing first will help) and has a terrible neckline for petites. The cheap strings only add to the lack of quality this piece offers. Perhaps black boots and a suede belt will help it. Surprised by Jcrew-

SO BIG
December 23, 2022I wish that there had been a review of this dress before I bought it, so that I would know just how ridiculously large it is. I’m 5’1” and weigh 165 lbs wear a large in most brands. I do often size down to medium in a lot of J Crew’s summer dresses, and sometimes even a small, but that is more about their wildly inconsistent sizing. But this dress is weird and unwearable - I look like I was swallowed whole by a leopard print paper bag. The wrist openings are very large (they don’t even touch my wrists), the material is stiff and there’s a ton of it, with a hemline that is awkwardly long. It wouldn’t be as bad if I’d sized down or if they had used a lighter material, but here we are. It’s times like this when I still wonder why I buy non-returnable items from J. Crew, especially if there isn’t a review for size guidance.
