Scoopneck silk dress with removable belt

I am a size 4 and dress is so big, on the bust. too sad. I can’t return it because I am in the Caribbean. I did like the fresh colors of the print.

Pretty dress with such beautiful colorful combo , however this dress is way too big , I am a size 6 and it’s way too loose and the straps are not adjustable ( needs to be altered ) I recommend to order 1-2 sizes diem from your usual size

Size down! Beautiful dress, quality material, but it fits like it’s one size fits all. I usually wear a 6/8 or s/m, but after reading the reviews, I chose a 4, but probably should have got a 2. There’s nothing really to “fit” to your body. It has spaghetti straps and then lots of beautiful material that you tie around the waist. It gaps a little under my arms, too. I’m 5’5”, 127lbs and the dress hits the top of my feet. I like it a lot, but will wear it with a heeled sandal and tube bra.

I listened to other reviews and ordered down a size and wish I had ordered down 2 sizes! There is a lot of extra material and I really wish the straps were adjustable. Even with the sale price, I am disappointed.

This dress is totally out of any shape. Also, it’s very disappointing that jcrew uses polyester as lining. I remember two seasons ago, you could get a silk dress with silk or cotton lining, now you pay more for lower quality.

The colors are vibrant. I am 5’1” and the dress length is long enough to touch the ground but not pool at the bottom, which gives me the flexibility to wear flats or wedge sandal. I read the reviews prior to purchase and sized down. Its still a little loose but not overwhelming and the belt helps define my waist. I gave this dress 4 stars because the straps are not adjustable. I am petite with a short torso so the straps are very loose. When I walk at a fast pace, the straps fall off my shoulder. Adjustable straps should be a staple on a dress at this price point. Overall, nice summer dress that can be worn for any occasion.
