6 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers love the dress’s glamorous sequin look and overall quality, saying it feels well made, has even stitching, and gives a fun ’90s-inspired vibe. A common note is that the color reads more like a golden yellow, marigold, or mustard shade in person rather than the brighter tone shown online. Several customers also found it to have little to no stretch, so they suggested sizing up if they want a less close fit. Overall, it seems like a standout party dress that looks especially good when the fit is chosen carefully.

LOVE!
October 15, 2023Pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. I love this dress! As others have said a bit more towards a golden yellow in person as opposed to the bright yellow online. I found it to be tts to my other (non-sequin) gwyneth slip dresses. I'm 5'6" 127lbs 34b .My usual size range in dresses is 2-4 ,size 2 in slip dresses. Questioning the label's hand wash instructions as website says it's dry clean . Lining seems a bit delicate so wondering if dry clean would be best.

Beautiful bold color
July 23, 2023Love the dress. Was stuck between a 4 and a 6 and chose 6.-which was the wrong call, because it's a bit too loose for the glam look the sequins and color give it. Quality of fabric overall is great and the stitching is even. Length is great for me. I'm 5'7" 140lbs for reference. Very light skinned people might want to plan for a tan to make the color work best. I'm going to take in the waist and see if it can be salvaged for a wedding.

Looks and feels cheap
July 2, 2023Purchased this on final sale after eyeballing for a while, and knew it’d be a risk, but this dress looks and feels cheap. Normally a 6 in Jcrew dresses, I sized up to an 8 based on the reviews. It is incredibly long, hits mid calves almost, and the slit in the back runs incredibly high- much higher and longer than the photo- it is no more than two inches below the butt? Is this some kind of fluke?? Not sure the torso this was made for based on that alone. I thought maybe it’d be higher quality based on the original price point but the color (which is more muted than the online photos), quality and cut are not even close to the sale price. Definitely do not recommend this at all.
