Sequin Gwyneth slip dress

Pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. I love this dress! As others have said a bit more towards a golden yellow in person as opposed to the bright yellow online. I found it to be tts to my other (non-sequin) gwyneth slip dresses. I'm 5'6" 127lbs 34b .My usual size range in dresses is 2-4 ,size 2 in slip dresses. Questioning the label's hand wash instructions as website says it's dry clean . Lining seems a bit delicate so wondering if dry clean would be best.

Love the dress. Was stuck between a 4 and a 6 and chose 6.-which was the wrong call, because it's a bit too loose for the glam look the sequins and color give it. Quality of fabric overall is great and the stitching is even. Length is great for me. I'm 5'7" 140lbs for reference. Very light skinned people might want to plan for a tan to make the color work best. I'm going to take in the waist and see if it can be salvaged for a wedding.

Purchased this on final sale after eyeballing for a while, and knew it’d be a risk, but this dress looks and feels cheap. Normally a 6 in Jcrew dresses, I sized up to an 8 based on the reviews. It is incredibly long, hits mid calves almost, and the slit in the back runs incredibly high- much higher and longer than the photo- it is no more than two inches below the butt? Is this some kind of fluke?? Not sure the torso this was made for based on that alone. I thought maybe it’d be higher quality based on the original price point but the color (which is more muted than the online photos), quality and cut are not even close to the sale price. Definitely do not recommend this at all.

Y'all, I'm obsessed! This dress is absolutely beautiful! Color-wise I'd say it's more of a marigold, a little bit deeper in color and not quite as bright as pictured. The sequins are smaller, which I think gives it a classier look that can sometimes get lost with larger sequins. In terms of size for dresses I can be anywhere from an 8-12 depending on the style of dress. I'm smaller up top and have curvier hips, thighs, and booty. The other reviews said it ran smaller and had no stretch, so I went with a 12. While I think the 10 would have also worked, I'm glad a went with a 12 since it's slip dress style, I think slightly big works a little better. I have been eyeing this dress since it first dropped and with the extra 60% off the sale price I just had to get it and you definitely should too! The perfect dress to have in the closet for any occasion!

I love anything sequin and I have last year's Gwyneth slip dress in zebra print sequin. This dress fits the same and is equally as fabulous. The yellow is bright and bold and fits me perfectly. I am a 14 in dresses but I purchased a 16 because the dress does not have stretch and I have a lot up front and in the back if you catch my meaning. I cannot wait to wear it out! I feel so glamorous in this dress! J. Crew does it again! I love this dress!

Beautiful bright hot dog mustard yellow, I couldn't pull off the color but lovely piece, looks well made. A bit tighter than last year's sequin slip dress, might size up if don't want close fit
