Sheath dress in denim

This dress is almost perfect - the sheath style is very complimentary and the fabric has the stretch to accommodate curves. TTS: 5'5", 127lb, 34C, 27 waist and I bought a size 4. The only problem is the huge, gaping armholes. Because of the thicker denim fabric, the fabric won't lay flat but rather juts up and outward, making the armholes quite obvious and the dress overall weird looking. Got this on sale so plan to just wear this over a denim jacket or blazer (a sweater won't be able to hide it).

This dress has a rich denim color and a wonderful hint of stretch that shapes and slims my figure. It's awesome!!!

I liked this dress, but I ordered a size 2 (5'4", 110, 34AA, 26 inch waist, and I fluctuate between a 0 and a 2 in JC dresses), and it was massive on me. The armpits gaped/stuck out, and the shoulders were actually raised on me (i.e. there was about a 1/2 inch gap between my shoulders and the top of the dress), which I have never seen happen before. It's made well and seems to be of excellent quality. Really bummed it doesn't fit, since I bought it on final sale. C'est la vie. I may try to have it altered, but it would probably cost more than the dress, and I don't know if I like it that much, haha. Perhaps a donation is in order. Sigh.

I am obsessed with this cute little dress. It fits exactly how I like my sheath dresses to fit, a little more on the fitted side. For reference I am 5'5, 38B, hips are 41", waist is 31", weight is 136. It hits just above my knees and I'm able to get it on past my hips comfortably and zip it up without any struggle. It's not stretchy, but it's not super stiff either, very comfortable and easy to move in.

So pleased with this dress. The material is substantial-thick denim. 98% cotton, 2% elastane. The cut is very flattering. I'm tall, 5'9", and the dress stops just above my knees, which is my preferred length. I washed the dress in cold water & hung it to dry. The tag suggests putting the dress in the dryer, but I don't like to risk shrinkage. The dress dried wrinkly, however, once I put it on and wore it around for a few minutes the wrinkles fell out. Looks fantastic with a bolero sweater.

Ladies, this dress is awesome. The shade of dark blue makes it conservative enough for the workplace but throw on some cute shoes and you’ve got yourself a night out outfit (assuming we ever get to nights out again). Super comfortable, with just the right amount of stretch. Good quality, true to size.
