Short-sleeve striped sweater-dress in Re-Imagined Wool

This dress is adorable and cheerful. I wear it with a sleeveless turtle underneath sometimes, though this fabric doesn’t itch. In this case, I haven’t had any pilling of the fabric, and it is well made overall. This looks great with a pair of navy loafers. I also might like to wear this with a heel sometimes to offset the horizontal stripes, but that could be too dressy, this is clearly a casual dress. The fit is a little boxy, appropriate for this style.

This is my new go-to dress! Initially, I was a bit worried about the material because I purchased this dress during the summer, but it was a pleasant surprise to feel the material in person. I've grown to really appreciate the sturdiness of this softer wool-blend, especially since it keeps without being too windy or hot. This dress is such a great piece and the length is perfect! For sizing reference, I am 5'8"/130lbs and I wear a medium in this dress, but I comfortably could have worn a size small!

Super cute but worth ordering a size down because it's a bit boxy. I ordered the medium being my usual size but a small would have looked more tailored. The fabric is thick so will be great for cooler weather. Unlike others, not being 100% is actually a plus because it gives the dress more structure and also a softness that you probably wouldn't get from 100% wool.

This dress is exactly what I hoped but a little better--fabric is stretchy but not clingy, and the fit is really flattering on my 5'4", 125-lb frame. Also love the vivid tomato red, white and black stripes--so cute with spiffy sneakers or black loafers. Not sure what people don't like about the fabric--it feels weighty, has a nice drape, and isn't cheap or spongy to me at all. I'll wear it a ton when I go back to teaching this fall!

First things first: this dress is NOT 100% wool, which the description makes one to believe it is. It's a blend of wool, spandex, and polyamide, which is a dealbreaker at this price point. As a result, the material is a strange, sponge-y fabric, almost like a thick ponte or scuba wool, which is at odds with its style as a short-sleeve dress. It hits above the knee on me (I'm 5'4") and I wish it had pockets. The crewneck was also higher up than I would've liked. Overall, this was a miss. My husband also hated the orange/blue color combo.

Good quality, I would give a 3.5 because It is 84% wool but 100% as in the description. Also it is a little too thick.
