Perfect dress!
April 4, 2024This is an elegant dress for both professional dress and also for semi-cocktail wear. It is figure flattering. I was surprised it has shoulder pads! It is calf length. Suitable for year-round wear.

Long and very form-fitting
December 15, 2023I love the silhouette of the dress. The shoulder pad are not overly noticeable and give it nice structure. I bought the green, and didn't mind the color or material. I found it to run small-- it definitely hugs the curves. (Which, for a work-style dress, is not optimal.) It was also quite long; at 5'4, it came to mid-shin.

December 3, 2023As for sizing it is consistent with JCrew sizing. However I get size 4 in JCrew and do not believe I am a true size 4. The waist is a bit wider than other dresses in size for but not so wide that I woudl return. The sillouette is very nice. However the material is more of the textured polyester and not the more upscale looking one. I can get away with it since the dress is black though. I was using the purchase of this black dress to determine if I would get the green and I will not based on the feel of the material. I typically get tall sizes for underarm room and longer lenth and this regular size fit my arms fine which is a plus. 5'8 athletic type build, heavier on bottom.
