Smocked button-up mini dress

Bought this online to try out because I could not find this style in my size in the store. I received it, tried it on but it did not fit. I went to the store to return it and the sale associate and the manager said that it was the sale was final and that was the risk for buying their clothes online. What is the point of buying something online if you can't return if it does not fit? I would have been satisfied with store credit, but they even refused to provide store credit. What a stupid policy for any retailer who is serious about selling clothing and apparel online. I will never shop at J. Crew again and will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

Just purchased this dress hoping to get it in because the real cold weather begins. Read the reviews and saw that it is cut small. I went u a size and ordered a X large. This was a mistake. The dress is definitely cute but I wish O ordered it smaller. It’s definitely true to size. If I could return, I would, purchased on final sale. Will be attempting to take it in.

I've been waiting for an honest to goodness review...that never came, so here it is...Gorgeous dress in Fabric and design, hands down! This is obviously fitted...VERY VERY FITTED! I went up a size because I have muscular legs and a bit of a "booty' and 1 size up is not cutting it. It's super clingy and very stretchy. I bought a Small and may just get a Large for a better fit. If you're teeny tiny, and super slim...this is a great dress for you. Booties, Bums and Boobs...be VERY Careful!! It's a beautiful October Witchy dress, if you can get your size right!! Good luck!
