Smocked-waist dress in sunny blooms

Beautiful dress! I was very pleased! The dress is very well-made.

I was so excited to try this dress on, I unpacked it as soon as it was delivered. The fabric quality is great and beautiful, but the chest section is completely nonfunctional. I am a 38DD, but the problem here was that the cups of the dress cut through the middle of your breast. It was so uncomfortable and bewildering. Sad to return.

I saw this dress on the mannequin in the store and had to have it! The sunny floral pattern is so beautiful. The smocked bodice is very flattering as is the entire silhouette. It’s a very nice quality cotton and the dress is well made. I wore it to a summer part with espadrille sandals and got many compliments.

I was mad with anticipation waiting on this dress.....but alas! I was disappointed....the fabric and print is amazing but jcrew you need to be more consistent with your dress sizing especially the bust.....the dress was a true size 8 except the bust that was probably a 4 or a 6.....the bust was weird....jcrew more curvier women are wearing your clothes now so you guys need to change your cut especially on the bust, what happen to us DD gals....I still love the dress tho, so I will reorder the size 10 fingers cross....and yes I was also influenced by pretty woman ...

I got this dress online in my usual size 4 and have to admit in the top it is a bit tight. The elastic only goes until half way. The rest is kept by the zip. My bra size is 34b and the 4 is a bit tight in the back but still acceptable. I don't need a bra with it as the cups in the front keep it well and have a good size. If I would have bought it in the shop I would have tried a 6 because it of the tightness in the back. However, then the cups might be too big. The fabric is a good and stiff cotton and the print is just wonderful and romantic. The style is easy-going which makes it an every-day-dress. I would have preferred though if the elastic would have covered the whole back part. Then no zip would have been needed and it would fit better. It has pockets girls!!!!!!

I saw this online while shopping for vacation and had to go to the store to try it on in person. I am so glad I made the trip. I am usually a size 4 in JCREW dresses, but since I'm smaller chested (32B) I was able to size down to a size 2. The fabric is great quality, it has pockets, and adjustable straps. This is a classic style that will see many summers. I wound up purchasing the brown polka dot version as well.
