So soft but completely see-through
October 15, 2025I really wanted to love and keep this dress, but it was completely see-through! I got the grey (heather nickel), but I couldn't figure out how to wear it appropriately because it showed everything. It was super soft, I loved the fit and the tie waist. I'm 5ft and 115lbs, and the length was great. Super soft, too! Wish it came in blue or another color that wasn't see-through and was a summer color for the lightweight texture.

Fits true to size
Sweet looking dress
September 24, 2025I had my eye on this dress as soon as it came out. Then the sale, so purchased. But, for as great as it was on the hanger, just didn't do well on me. It's a tad see thru, so would need something under. I had purchased the ivory, not the red. Sadly I returned.

July 26, 2025I started off with the gray one and was so pleased when it arrived - lightweight enough to wear in the summer and warmer months (all year round in California). It's quite flattering with the tied waist and dresses up and down. When they went on sale, I decided to snap up the red one too. It's a good shade of red - bright cherry red. Really cute under a denim jacket or blazer. Took one on holiday with me and wore it on the plane - so, very comfy and cozy - great travel dress! Followed the reviews and sized down (xs) as recommended - still fits oversized as intended.

Fits true to size
Missed my size , but I am happy
July 20, 2025I missed my size with this funky dress. I placed two different colors in my basket and decided to wait for the sale. Well, the sale came, but I was busy that day and thought there were only three reviews, so I thought the dress wasn't that popular. I decided I would buy them in the evening, when I get home. It was too late; my size XXL was sold out in both colors. In desperation, I bought the NICKEL in XL and the RED in 2X. When I got them, to my surprise, the RED (2X) fits me like the picture of the model wearing the NICKEL; it is loose and a bit oversized, which could be regulated with the attached belt. It drapes exactly as in the picture. Now, the Nickel (XL) fits me and drapes like the pic of the model in RED. It is a bit confusing, I know, but both sizes look good. I think J.Crew showing the picture of two different models with different "looks" of the dress, wanted to show that the dress is universal
