Squareneck sheath dress in stretch velvet

Great sheath dress that conforms nicely to the body. Has a more structured fit with the square neckline and heavy velvet fabric. Can’t go wrong with either color option of bright pink or classic black.

Lovely dress. Very classic style. I am either a 4 or 6 at J Crew. Since this is fitted I got the 6. The fit was nearly perfect except in the torso length so I had it altered. I always have to have regular sizes shortened in the torso

This dress is truly stunning. The fabric is heavy and has a gorgeous shine to it- even my husband commented on how beautiful it was as he zipped me up. The only problem is this just isn’t designed for a women with a larger bust. The lines of the dress were cutting my bust in half- it looked awful. I’d avoid this style if you’re a D cup or bigger, maybe even a C? I wish this would have worked for me but sadly, it’s going back.

This dress reminds me of the yesteryears of J.Crew when the quality was outstanding and dresses would last years. I am so pleasantly surprised. The velvet is very soft and the dress is very flattering. I found it to be true to size. I purchased in black but either color would be perfect for an office holiday party. I would love this dress to be offered in more fabrics and colors!
