Fits slightly small based on
20 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers really love the dress’s overall look, especially the pretty dip-dye color, polished poplin fabric, and flattering drop-waist shape. Many found it to be a standout, elegant piece that feels dressy and versatile for events or everyday wear. The most common concern is that the strapless bodice runs snug in the chest area and can be tricky to zip, so customers may want to size up for a more comfortable fit. Several also wished for a bit more support up top, but when the fit works, the dress gets lots of compliments.

Beautiful Dress but Runs Tight in the Bust
January 7, 2026I love the overall style of this strapless drop‑waist dress—the dip‑dye design is gorgeous, and the materials feel high‑quality and really flattering. However, the fit around the chest is much tighter than expected, and the side zipper was difficult to zip up, even when I wasn’t wearing it. Once on, it looks great, but the top definitely runs small. A lovely dress, but consider sizing up if you're fuller in the chest or prefer an easier fit

Unique summer dress
December 30, 2025I really like this dress and it fits true to size. I just wish it had straps for a bit more support.

Elegant Dress with a Disappointing Zipper
December 24, 2025This strapless dress is elegant, beautiful, and playful, almost giving off an Emily in Paris vibe with its high-quality fabric and colors. I’ve never written a review before, but I couldn’t help myself because I kept wondering why the zipper doesn’t meet the quality and beauty of the dress. Unfortunately, the zipper is a complete letdown. I don’t understand why J.Crew would use such a cheap, poorly functioning zipper—it really downgrades the entire dress.
