This dress is just yet another failure in J.Crew's attempt at size inclusivity and adding extended sizes. The bodice on this dress is atrocious... who was in charge of the fitting? Show me a fat woman with a A-cup or flat chest, which is what this 3X dress is sized for. There is absolutely no room for anything resembling breasts in this dress. If you position it so the seam aligns under your bra cup, it doesn't even come up to your nipples and the entire bra shows above the neckline. And of course, there are no stores that that actually carry these extended sizes so you can't actually try it on before you order, and it seems like everything is final sale and non-returnable these days, so you're stuck with disappointment after disappointment.

Pretty fabric! I remember buying a dress like this from JCrew about 10 years ago. It was much better constructed. More underbust support - with boning at the side to prevent sideways spilling. There was also a bit of silicone around the edge of the top, so it held in place better. You may want to size down to get more support. But really, I felt for my size, I would need to take it to a tailor to adding side support and a bra band that would also support better. If you are an A or B, it should be fine.
