Tie-front dress in Liberty® Rachel floral

I am a solid J.Crew 14. This dress fits perfectly. Now, most girls that are 14's have a size 14 chest. I purchased the dress knowing that I was going to wear I scoopneck tee underneath it. Had I not planned for that I would be in trouble. There is no way the top of the dress would hold a size 14 bust. Otherwise it is gorgeous. The fabric is lovely and wonderful liberty quality. I absolutely adore it and it works perfectly for me. Just keep in mind if you are busty you will be quite on display.

This dress is unlike anything I have ever purchased but I loved it for cool summer days when I want to look effortlessly stunning just going around the corner. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it hit me just at the ankle on my 5'2" frame. It means I won't have to hold it to prevent it from dragging along these filthy New York streets. The bust area is a tad too big but not big enough where I'd have a wardrobe malfunction. Adjustable straps would have given this dress 5 stars.

I love the pattern and quality of this dress. The fit is probably as true to size as it's going to be for me (went with a 6 which is my normal dress size). I do agree with other reviews that someone with a larger bust may not love the fit. I'm planning to fix this for myself with a belt which will raise the bust line, add a waist, and add a bit more coverage.

I was excited to get this dress but was disappointed when it came. It is so big around and tiered, the lining is the same way, it felt like I had one of those dresses the square dancers wear. I cut the lining out, the fabric is not see through, so now it's not as poofy, the other part I don't like is the top part, it's not long enough so your breast feel like they are going to fall out at any time and I am small chested. The straps don't adjust, which is stupid because every woman is different in height. It was a waste of money.

I love the fabric and quality of the dress, but didn't love the style. Its much fuller than it appears online and makes me look like I could be heavily pregnant. At 5'1" and a size 2 the dress wore me. It's too voluminous for my frame and I don't think removing the lining, as some suggested, will help, so it's going back. It was also a bit lower cut than I would like.

Wow I really love this dress. or I wanted to. The problem is that there is little coverage for one's bust. I tried on a size 2, a size 14, and everything in between. So if you are an A cup, you'll love it. If you're a C or D or larger, it will look ridiculous. Shame. The fabric is gorgeous.
