Not for short girls
June 29, 2020I really wanted to love this dress, and wear on the 4th. However, it is very long and looked matronly on my body. That said, the dress is very well made and is lined, a big plus! The straps are also adjustable, which is nice for customization.

Great dress for relaxed summer days
June 24, 2020This dress is light, breezy and comfortable, and is ideal for a relaxed summer day. The only issue I had with it was the fit, and at first I couldn't make out what it was but something about it looked too matronly. Luckily I realised it was the length: I removed 12 cm from the bottom and it's like a totally different dress: fun, playful, cute and sweet. Now, I love it.

June 23, 2020I'm pretty consistently a 2 in J. Crew dresses that aren't fitted on the bottom and a 4/6 in sheath style dresses because of my hips, but this is huge. I ordered a 2 and I was swimming in it. I ended up ordering a size 0 and 00 and the 00 fits the best. I wear a 34B bra so if you have a larger bust it might fit more true to size, but if you have a smaller bust or ribcage it will likely be too large in your regular size. This is the second J. Crew dress I ordered this year that was sized like this. The seersucker is lovely and light but the bust is a strange fit. I'm going to keep it because it's airy and I love seersucker but the bust could be a better shape.

Cute but small in bust
June 12, 2020I’m normally a size 6 (34D, 150, 5’6”). But this was small in the bust the buttons pulls as the fabric really doesn’t have any give. I’m going to try to size Up and try an 8.

Beautifully made dress
June 5, 2020I love this dress, very well made, it’s even lined with a white fine cotton. This is a go shopping, lunch or outdoor dinner date dress for sure. I am giving 5 stars for the dress it’s self, however due to my shape I am unfortunately returning it. Ordered 10, I normally fit jcrew medium tops and order large petite when available. The very fitted bodice was way too tight across my chest (36DD). Fit fine in the waist, and across my back, so going up in a size or two and being a petite (5’2”) the dress would end up being too big overall and loose it’s shape in my opinion. I would say buy this cutie for summer easy dressing it you are not too bustie.
