Feminine and pretty
September 12, 2019I had my eye on this for a while . It’s lovely. The bottom portion is a tad full, so I sized down one size. It fits perfectly at the bottom but the top is a teensy bit snug. Not too much that’s it uncomfortable. Happy I grabbed it!

Disastrous dress
August 28, 2019Disastrous dress. I am a regular 0 in all jcrew clothes, but this 0 runs small, mainly on the shoulders and arms. I am a small size and still buy or regulate because I do not like tight clothes and this barely zipper up. The cotton is disgusting, weak wrinkled and bodyless. Even with a bust 32 the buttons open. Uff what a dislike

Sizing is Off
August 3, 2019The dress overall is beautiful. The waistline sits high, more similar to an empire waist dress. The cotton is summerweight. Its only sheer where the lining stops. I normally wear a 0 or 2 at JCrew. My waist 26" and chest is B. I'm slender throughout. I could not cross my arms. The chest area was baggy and the arm/shoulder area is too tight. Bought 2 sizes (0 and 2) . I have to return both. Perhaps, if size 4 comes available, I'll try it but unsure if the chest will be too large.

Floaty & fun, TTS for a 6
July 31, 2019Thank you to prior reviewers who noted that smaller sizes are TTS. I'm typically a 6 in a-line dresses (34C, 29 jeans) and, as the 4 was sold out anyway, ordered the 6 to try. Fit is great, slim in the bust (if you're larger than a C it would be too tight I think) and then more volume starting at the waist. The waist hits me a bit higher than shown on the model but not so high as to read "empire." Now I just have to figure out whether I have the life where I'll actually wear this... lovely and summery though it is!
