V-neck sheath dress in recycled stretch ponte

Bought this for an art reception. Flattering fit and fabric. Didn't need to wear a slip. Only draw back is that it's dry clean only. Would definitely recommend this dress!

I absolutely love this fabric! Thick, yet lightweight, hides all flaws, super comfortable and colors are bold and bright! Fits exactly as pictured on model. I purchased in cerise. For a day look, I wear it with a pair of matching espadrilles and then dress it up to go out in the evening with a pair of gold strappy heels and the J. Crew twisted crystal necklace. I get compliments every time I wear this dress!

I recently purchased this dress for a funeral in California. I was concerned that my “go-to” dresses would be too warm for a funeral mass and an all day memorial in warm (no air conditioning) San Diego. I paid for expedited shipping and tossed the dress in my suitcase. While the dress is a lovely weight and very flattering, I noticed it had a snag on the skirt when I put it on. The dress also has fabric that folds in /under at the v-neck and the extra fabric kept working its way out. It was a final sale, so I knew I’d be keeping it anyway. The dress does run a little large, so the extra fabric may have stayed in place better if it had a snugger fit. I am disappointed with the snag, but it was comfortable enough to wear through a funeral mass, all day memorial, and supporting my mother-in-law. It looked great with my JC animal print heels.

Very nice dress, great fabric, quality, smooth fit, comfortable. So why didn't I keep it? Size 6 (in navy) was right for me at 5'5", 128 lbs, straight figure type, 34b. I wish the dress came in petite, though, as I am slightly short waisted. The top part of the dress was long on me, and so it buckled down the sides under the arms; and the length hit exactly at mid knee, which I felt was just an inch or two too long for this style, bottom heavy. Too bad.

This is the perfect dress, ladies! I wore twice in three days while on biz travel (because JCREW's competitor did not deliver on my order -- their loss). I styled the dress differently on both days and all my fashionable friends/coworkers loved it and are now purchasing it for themselves.

I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and drape of this fabric, and the dress (which I got in navy blue) looks great on. The fabric is smoothing and has a nice sheen. Terrific dress for work with a cardigan or blazer. The length is perfect.
