Run large and stretch during the day
July 4, 2021I normally take sizes 26/27, never take 25. I am glad I did per reviews' suggestion. Quality is great, medium weight denim and fit great. However, they stretch out during the day, glad that I sized down.

Very comfortable jeans!!
July 1, 2021I bought two pairs of slim boyfriend jeans with the ripped knee last year and they are my most comfortable jeans in my closet. I bought 2 pairs of this style with the patch on the knee. Once again they’re so comfortable that I bought 2 more today. I receive a lot of compliments on my “cute jeans “.

June 24, 2021Fell in love with the patchwork knee on this from photos, and like the overall design even better in person! The ankles are frayed perfectly! I have been buying a lot of jeans at J.Crew lately, finding myself trusting TrueFit more and more. Reason why: Whenever I've diverged from their recommended TrueFit sizing in pants specifically, it's gone wrong. TrueFit recommended my usual 28 (size 6) here, and based on the reviews I *almost* sized down to a 27 (size 4). Boy am I glad that I did not. The 28 fit exactly like the photo -- boyishly loose without being too crazy. Also, the waist juuust fit comfortably in this size, which means a size 4 would have been too tight in the waist. My stats are 5'5, 126 lbs, 36B (i.e., carry slightly more weight on bottom than top), and my strong suggestion would be to trust TrueFit or your normal J.Crew pants size here. They will fit relaxed just as in the photo. Plus, they're mostly cotton and will shrink a bit in the dryer, too.

April 2, 2021These are so huge. I honestly don’t even know where to go from here- I see a long trial of returns and exchanges and being disappointed my size is gone. Maybe order 2 sizes down? 3? And the waist is such that if you have curves, it is too wide to compensate. The waist doesn’t nip in enough.
