October 29, 2021As per other reviews I got these in 27 (vs 26 my regular J.Crew jeans size) but they were larger than I expected; I feel like my regular size would have been a better fit. To shrink a little, I washed in warm and dried in hot, now they fit better. They now fit just like the model photo. Lengthwise, I'm 5'5 and I like the regular length. When un-cuffed it comes to my ankle. I like it better half-cuffed though. Glad that I didn't order the tall. For sizing info: I'm 128ish, 5'5, wear 2 in remi and martie pants, mostly 26 in toothpicks and slim straight jeans (and have 1 pair of 27, don't recall the model name). The color is light blue, I like the wash, as I don't have any light blue jeans. The tag inside lists both cotton and ellastomultiester, so it's not 100% cotton. The fabric has definitely some sort of stretch. After washing and drying it looks more rigid but still comfortable. Hope this helps...

Comfortable & Cute
October 28, 2021These fit in the waist true to size I bought a 31 (size 12) and they fit perfect . They are cropped but I always cut the hem to give them a raw edge . So comfortable and light weight .. I wore them to a barbecue and had several compliments on the bandana pattern . Slouchy in the thigh area , look cute with heels and plain black fitted top . Fantastic price on sale . I am 5ft 8 and a great crop length .

Great jeans, agree about sizing
October 9, 2021I'm 5'5, 129 lbs, and typically a size 6/28 in J.Crew shorts though have gone up to a 8/Medium in select J.Crew styles that run smaller. TrueFit recommended 28 regular for me here, but after reading the other review from the woman who said the regular jeans were very cropped if you're 5'5+ and ran a bit normal/tight, I also sized up to a 29 Tall. I FULLY agree that the size Tall in these jeans is not tall at all on a 5'5 frame. (And I say this as someone who has shorter legs.) Go Tall if you're 5'5 or taller and want normal length. Also, I ended up liking the 29's though I also could have gone with the 28s. The 29s fit slouchy like they do on the model on me and enable the bottoms to be rolled. Really comfortable, too! I would be open to a 28 Tall, too, for tighter wear. Might look for those on sale. Really cute style in general!
