Slouchy boyfriend jean in Putnam wash

I was hesitant about purchasing these jeans because I wasn’t sure about the patches, but I am so glad I took the plunge! I absolutely love them! The length is perfect. The cuff gives them a preppy yet chic look. If you are thinking about them, yet not sure, do it! I’ve found my new favorite jeans.

Was a bit nervous ordering these because of mixed reviews. Was very happy with them, especially the fit. For reference I am 5"6' and 132lbs. Ordered 27 -perfect loose fit ,slouchy in legs but fit nicely-closely in waist, no gaps. I am proportionally bigger in thighs and butt, smaller upper body. For example J Crew Camerons size 6 fit me well, Straight Vintage does not work for me. Hope this helps !

Love these pants. In fact, I've purchased a backup pair. Tired of sticking your leg in your torn jeans and having your foot go through a hole? These aren't quite so destroyed but do have the distressed look with patches you don't have to iron on yourself. The denim is the older version of Levi denim kind of from years ago. Don't expect much stretch. I work in the legal field. I won't be wearing them to work, but the "repaired" statement they're making would look wonderful paired with a dressing blouse and heals to JCrew's distressed sweatshirt (I snagged one months ago) which I don't believe is available any longer. I'm 5'4", 116 - 118 pounds, 32/34B bust and 37 1/2" hips. The 28 fits well. I don't like my jeans skin tight.

Cute on the model, no way in real life. Wide in the legs, tight in the butt and thighs. Although others said they run large, I ordered my usual size, as I am a 31 in Madewell’s curvy skinny jeans and figured my curves would make up for the jeans running large. Nope, too small. The color was also much lighter than pictured, and not an attractive wash. The only thing I can say I liked was the distressing—I wish J.Crew would do more distressed styles!

These are a great, easy-fitting pair of heavyweight jeans, and the added design element of visible mending is a nice, stylish touch. I like that they have absolutely no stretch, but don't let that stop you from sizing down if you want a closer fit. There is plenty of wiggle room. I usually wear a 26, which I ordered and kept, but then ordered a size 25 for when I want to wear something that's not as loose.

Thanks to the first reviewer, I know to call this boro stitching, and it’s really cool in person. For me, the fit is exactly as pictured in my usual size, 29. It’s loose-ish, and the rise is just below my belly button; they sort of hang a bit on my hipbones. The 28 was really tight in the waist and gave me a muffin top, and because they have no stretch, was really uncomfortable to sit down in. The 29 will let me actually tuck a shirt in. These look much more premium and fashiony than I expected, I just think this is a fun, different fit and style to have in the wardrobe.
