Curvy full-length bootcut jean in Kettle wash

I have a few pairs of high-waisted J Crew jeans that I love, but for some reason these fit totally differently. They seemed like a particularly high waist and the fabric was really stiff. I have a pretty flat stomach but in these pants, I couldn't sit down without feeling bound and restricted by stiff fabric. Weird, as I said above that this general style has been awesome for me in the past.

I love the curvy full-length boot cut jeans. This wash, Kettle, is not super stylish. These fit great by the color is not so great. Hopefully the color will improve after washing.

These seemed much darker in person. Looked like I was wearing my husband's jeans. Didn't find them flattering at all. I ordered the curvy fit thinking it would give me more room in the thighs. Didn't find that to be the case at all, wasn't tight just wasn't as loose as I hoped. Overall there are better jeans out there. These were returned.
