wanted to love it
October 4, 2018I wanted to love this jean so bad! I ordered my normal size 27 and it fit fine except the waist in the back gapped a little. I see a lot of people said they were stretchy; I disagree, I didn't think they were stretchy enough (especially thru thigh and butt) and wished there would have been a little more give, especially in the butt, I think it would have fit better and not gapped. I tried and re-tried them on hoping I could make it work but I just felt I wouldn't have been comfortable in them.

September 30, 2018I typically wear a 28 or 29 in J.Crew jeans, and the 29 was too small on me. However, the the waist was too high and crotch hung too low. The denim had no give or stretch and did not fit as other jeans with similar measurements. Returned.

Best jeans ever!
September 11, 2018The fit is outstanding. High rise makes a slim figure and the fabric holds it all together. Like it has in-built body shaper. No tummy to see. Still very comfortable to wear. The cropped, kicky hem gives it a very cool twist. And best thing is, the jeans doesn't loose its shape. Fit is the same when you put it on in the morning than after hours of wearing. I just love love love it! For sizing stick to your normal JCrew size.

August 23, 2018I love the color - dark denim, the frayed hem at the bottom, the shorter length, the flaire, & the higher rise. I want to purchase more. Last year they made these in black denim & I'm regretting not buying them. So, I hope that JCrew makes them in the black denim which will go with anything & be so cute for fall.

New favorite jeans
July 27, 2018I LOVE these jeans! I want to wear them all the time. Just the right amount of stretch but not too much that they get all saggy after a few wears. Which is just what the lovely lady helping me at the store said. ( Columbus Circle, NYC). They look so great with flats, sandals, a nice summery blouse or pop of color hot pink blazer. (which is what happened today :) ) I can't wait to wear some cool boots with them in the fall or maybe tomorrow. J. Crew jeans never disappoint and I still have my first pair from many years ago.
