November 30, 2020Material out of the bag feels like sandpaper. Hoping with a wash this changes. Waist seems tighter than in other washes.

Love these! But...
November 10, 2020I love these jeans! They fit great, look great and mostly feel great. My one complaint is that they are too high waisted. I’m 5’4”, 114 lb. and my torso is proportional to my height— as in not super short. The 9 inch waist on these is just too high. I sized up to a 26 hoping that would take care of it, but no. When I’m standing they are comfortable, but when I sit they dig into my waist. I have another pair of toothpicks in the 8 inch waist— actually a size smaller and they do not do this. The height of the waist makes a big difference for those of us without long torsos! Please make more 8 inch waisted jeans! There are sooooo many more of the 9 inch. 8 inches still offers a high waisted look without the painful pinching.
