Curvy toothpick jean in Blue Shadow wash

I have said it before and I will say it again. AWESOME denim, and comfortable. They do run large, I have them in the charcoal color as well so please size down from your regular size. I should have bought the 28 in these because the CURVEY DENIM runs large. I’m 5’5’ about 160-165 , great purchase for me just need to go down in sizing.

This jean is just the right amount of structure and stretch. While there is stretch and give, they don’t fall down as you wear them. It seems to run a bit large compared to other jcrew pants. I got the 29, it’s a little big so I might try a size down as well. I’ve been wearing them almost every day regardless. Easy to dress up and dress down.

I have 2 other pairs of these curvy toothpick jeans and absolutely love them so thought I’d try another wash. For some reason the sizing/fit is not the same in this wash. The waist area is much looser than my others (a tighter waist is the whole point of a curvy fit!) I tried to shrink them but it didn’t do enough. And I understand the fabric is sustainable in this wash but it is VERY rough and uncomfortable even after many washes (figure it can’t hurt to keep trying/washing!) I’m disappointed in these - wish I wouldn’t have purchased :(

I have these in the other wash and absolutely love them. Thought a darker wash would be nice also so I got these. I truly hate them. The fabric is stiff and uncomfortable, they are very loose at the top of the legs and hang down in the crotch. They are big in the waist also so when I sit down, they pull down in the back. I am so disappointed because I tried to shrink them but they didn’t shrink at all. They were on sale but I still paid almost $100. What a waste!

Finally I put on these pants and they fit like a glove! High waisted in the right place , just enough stretch, good quality denim but not a summer weight. I am curvy, tall and ordered a size 12, usual size. I ordered from this site because big brand store ran out. Thank you Jcrew finally!!!!
