So confusing...
July 16, 2020These are NOT J.Crew, they are made by Point Sur, first of all, which you can see in the pictures if you look close but is not in the description. That said, Point Sur is always one size smaller than my j.crew size. So I am always a 31 n skinnies/flares and a 30 in straight/boyfriend for J.crew but I am 30 in Point Sur. I ordered a 30 for these and they fit perfect! A bit tight so they will stretch to fit my body perfectly over time due to 100% cotton. The unfortunate part was the weird pilling on the front thigh as if they are made from viscose or some other acrylic. Very weird. Hoping the pilling washes away since it cheapens these.

Fantastic vintage jean
June 5, 2020If you like a 100% cotton vintage jean, the kind you'd find after months of searching second-hand stores, this is it. The denim is substantial and rigid, but fits in all the right places. Hits at the ankle, no unnecessary distressing, a good shade of denim for summer (but can be worn year round). Reminiscent of an old pair of Levis. These are the kind of jeans that will last and last. Purchase size 27 (normal size), fit well with a bit of room at waist (for reference I'm 5'8', 140 lbs).

June 1, 2020I was so excited to give these jeans a go but I have mixed feelings on the product. I read these jeans have ZERO stretch, like vintage jeans, this peaked my interest. Historically vintage jeans with no stretch means size up, and I did based off initial reviews posted on JCrew but that was a mistake. So after returning the larger size I went for my regular size and they fit GREAT, a little tight but they hold you in and I love that. My issue is after breaking these jeans in for a couple of days they have this weird molting/fraying look over the surface. It maybe something that will go away after a wash or two but currently it kind of looks like the surface of your favorite Christmas sweater that's 5 years old. Again maybe this has to do with the zero stretch fabric make up, and maybe it will evolve but currently looks like a quality issue.

Should not have ordered up
May 21, 2020I have searched everywhere for 100% cotton jeans like back in the day so I was excited to see these. After reading reviews it seemed best to order up a size. I always wear a 27 or 4 in Jcrew jeans and pants so I ordered a 28. I will be sending these back and getting my regular 27. They were really big around the waist. Hope the 27 fit .
