What customers are saying:
Customers really love the classic design and quality of these jeans, noting that the heavy, non-stretch denim and flattering wide-leg style make them versatile enough for dressing up or down. Many customers suggested ordering a size smaller, as several found that the jeans tend to run large or have variable length depending on body type. The color options—from creamy ecru to buttermilk tones—were well-received for their timeless appeal, and the overall construction including the self-belt option adds to their charm. Overall, the jeans are seen as a stylish and durable wardrobe staple with plenty of character.

Pants for the thicker waist
April 22, 2025My ever shifting perimenopausal body seems to like these pants. They're clearly made for the thicker waisted. I'm 5'9" and was concerned about the length. The length works well for me as the crotch of the pants sits a little low. I ordered my normal jeans size and they weren't too big. Not a fan of the belt.

Fits big
A good choice
April 9, 2025Heavy weight but nice fabric and love the wide leg design. Some wide legs do not show a bum as the leg is wide all the way up the back of pant. This design is more flattering to the body. It's a perfect color creamy light tan. I would love same design pant in a cotton stretch but lighter weight. I loved the belt too.

Long and very dark cream
March 21, 2025So long! the color is very cream, a buttermilk color, which is ok, just expected a whiter cream like on web site. Pant length is over the top long and be aware a hem job will most likely be in your future. Id id like the waist belt.

Beautiful, high-quality pants!
March 20, 2025LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pants! They are so comfortable and so flattering. However, they run 2 sizes too large. I typically wear a J. Crew 29, but had to order a 27 to fit right.

Misleading online photo- runs short and loose
January 24, 2025Based on the online photo, and knowing that most models are at least 5’8” tall- I ordered these even though they were not offered in a “Tall” option. I am 5’ 8.5” tall 130 lbs and ordered a size 28 since based on my personal experience and many pairs of JCrew denim, they tend to run tight in the waist. The rise is sooo long, the waist is really huge, and length is very short on me. These might work for a “classic” to “petite” height person, but if you are 5’7 or taller, they will very likely be SHORT. A little disappointed in the reality versus the photo. The ecru color is nice, the denim is a great weight, but the fit is short in length and big in the waist.. A 27 would’ve fit better in the waist. The self-belt is still too loose even on the very last hole. Oh well…
