Fits big based on
25 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers consistently mention that these chambray paper-bag pants run large, so sizing down is often the way to go for a better fit. The fabric gets a lot of love for being lightweight, soft, and comfortable, making them feel especially nice for warm weather. Style-wise, many customers like the relaxed, breezy look and how easy they are to dress up or down. A few customers found the wide-leg shape and hip area a little too baggy or unflattering, so these seem to work best for customers who like a looser, more oversized silhouette.

Strange
January 22, 2021I bought these pants as a final sale item. The reviews said that the pants run large, so I sized down. My issue is that they are not flattering at all! The waist is not high waist and actually the rise is too low but the legs are so wide that they give you huge hips...I don't like how they look on me, so if you can definitely make sure you try them on before committing to purchase.

I wasn't sure, but they're great!
January 21, 2021There weren't any reviews from the tall ladies on here, hoping it helps. I'm 6'0 tall (athletic/straight and slender) and wear a 29 or 30 in jeans, and an 8 or 10 (sometimes 6) in J Crew skirts. I purchased an 8 in these, and it was perfect. For my long/straight body, this gives a slight illusion of hips while still being cute and comfy. I love them! Looking forward to wearing them this spring and summer. :)

Took a chance, not a winner
January 19, 2021Based on reading the reviews I purchased a size 8 - I'm between 8 and 10 in J. Crew pants. I am 5'8", 137 lbs, slim but hippy. There was sooo much fabric, and very unflattering, made my hips look huge. Going to the local charity.
