Could have been amazing
December 12, 2023The material is extraordinarily soft. Very unfortunately, they chose to sew plastic in the middle seam of the pants, which is a cheap and unnecessary execution, because it makes them itchy and uncomfortable against the skin. Really disappointed. As a result, dear potential buyer, not worth the price

Bummer
November 25, 2023I bought a set of the “dreamy” pajamas several years ago in gray stripe and LOVE them, so when I saw the blue stripe, I figured it was time for another pair. Fortunately, I checked the fabric before buying. My old pair are 95% cotton and 5% elastane. I have another pair that I bought thinking they were the “dreamy” kind but the look and feel were not even close. They were the same Lyocell and Lenzine mix as the current offering. I never wear them unless I’m backlogged on laundry and even then I avoid. They don’t look nearly as cool and I dislike the feel of the fabric. At the time, I figured I’d just bought the wrong type by mistake. Now I realize that JCrew has changed all their pajama fabrics. (The same thing happened with the flannel.) I’m so bummed. JCrew used to have the best pajamas. Why would you change your great basics? Go ahead and add new offerings but don’t replace the cotton dreamy and the thicker flannel basic pajamas that we love. And definitely don’t call them by the same name because that just feels deceptive. The older cotton version were dreamy. These are something else.
