Smocked cotton poplin pajama short set in rosebud floral

I purchased my regular size small and honestly I shouldn't gotten an XS or XXS. These things are HUGE. The shorts billow out way too much and the supposedly small top was made for someone much larger. If I hadn't purchased them on final sale, I would've returned them immediately. This is by far the worst PJ set I've ever had.

These are huge, I bought a medium after reading the reviews. I'm most often a size 10 in J Crew but you know their sizing, I have items in S, M, L and in 6, 8, 10 and 12. I wear a size 36 DD bra. This was huge and fluffy, it's still cute and I'll wear it but I do feel funny wearing it.

I LOVE the rosebud print and wanted to love these jammies. They're just way too billowy. The shorts fit great around the waist but the legs are so, so wide. The top is like a tent. I'm afraid to size down because I don't want the smocking to be too tight around my waist and neck. So overall I think it's cute if you'd like a billowy bedtime outfit, but it made me feel too much like an adult baby.
