Velvet jogger pant

These pants are soft, the color is gorgeous, the texture is lux and I do adore the fit! There is a catch... the burnished barn color is translucent. I noticed something on my leg in the mirror before heading out the door. It was the tag on the inside of the pants!!! The material is so thin you can definitely SEE the tag inside the leg on the thigh and nearly read it. I didn't feel comfortable wearing them in public after that... will see if a tailor can put in a liner :( If you opt for a darker color, you may not have the same issue.

It really is a shame that J.Crew has lost it's style, fit and quality that always made it stand out and get compliments. Pants are all over the place with sizing, these run large. I purchased my normal size 0 and too big. I'm beginning to think that J.Crew is only interested in over-sized, baggy, extremely casual, sloppy looking clothing for the masses, which can be bought anywhere for less money. I do not recommend these pants.

I’m a classical musician so always on the lookout for good concert black. These are elegant and super comfy and look great with either heels or flats.
