Full-length Kate straight-leg pant in Good Tidings plaid wool blend

Very happy with the purchase of these pants. I bought off season at a deep discount so I will have wait to wear these . Smaller than my other Kates ( in linen and velvet) I'm 5'6" 130lbs propotionally bigger in thighs and butt. I first ordered 4T as I sometimes find J Crew pants too short but 4T was way too long. Liked them so much I bought the 4 regular, those were slightly on the short side. Still so worth it ,very flattering, comfortable,not dorky dress pants.

I usually take a size 2 and the size 2 in these fit perfect. Even the length was perfect. The wool material is very rich looking & they're fully lined.

I faithfully read reviews and a number of customers rated these pants as running small. So I ordered one size up from my regular 00 and I can nearly put them on without unbuttoning them! I cannot wear these beautiful pants and because they were sale, cannot return them. I have found J Crew sizing very inconsistent and every sale purchase is hit or miss. I am very disappointed.

These pants are beautiful! The plaid is a perfect cheery shade of red, and I was very happy they came in tall. The inseam is a little over 33 inches, as noted in the product description. They do run a bit small. I am typically a 2 or 4, but ordered a 4 based on the reviews. Very glad I did because the 4 fits well. I am 5’7” and 120 pounds. So excited to add these to my holiday wardrobe!

These pants are made with a gorgeous fabric. Though lined, they are not prone to static cling. Sizing: I am 5’8”, 150 pounds, and fit. I’m nearly always a 6R or 6T in J. Crew pants. With these being full length, I bought the 6R, and they are a bit shorter on me than the model. I’m okay with that because I normally wear flats. I agree with the previous review that the pants run small. I didn’t notice it when I tried them on because I wasn’t muffin topping and the stiffness of the fabric covered drag lines on the butt and thighs. Didn’t even consider trying on a size 8 because the size-6 pants looked so nice. After wearing a few times, I noticed that the pants hurt my waist a bit throughout the day and I have some drag lines in the crotch and rear. I still love the pants but have become a little self-conscious about wearing them. Do they look as small as they feel? Still not sure. I am sure, however, that these are the most uncomfortable size-6 J.Crew pants that I own.
