These high-rise wool-blend flannel trousers get a lot of love for their soft, comfortable fabric, polished look, and beautiful color options. Customers especially like that they’re easy to dress up or down, and several mention that the matching top makes for a really chic set. Fit-wise, the pants tend to run long and sit quite high on the waist, with some customers finding the length full and others getting an ankle-bone to heel-length fit depending on height. Overall, they seem like a sharp, versatile trouser with a flattering drape and a nice finish.

elegant piece
July 23, 2020The material is nice and soft and comfortable. Love the wool as it flows well. Dry clean only. Light grey is beautiful color. Easy to dress up and down. The front rise is really high. The inseam is relatively long. It's like a full-length to me. 5'3'', 100 lb, size 0. waist fit perfect.

Professional look with all-day comfort
April 10, 2020Love these high waist pants. Super soft and comfortable. The lining provides great coverage (no panty lines seen) and they hang nicely. I have the matching top in grey. It's an understated look that can be dressed up with accessories for special occasions. I'm 5'8'' and the pants fall to my ankle bone.

The pants are interesting
February 14, 202060% wool, 20% viscose, 20% polyester. Wasn't expecting this blend, but it is a softer material which is unique. The pants are high waist, 1-inch above my belly button. Because they are high waist, I find them tighter at the stomach area, although the hip area is fine. I'm 5'4. The length of the pants have an inseam more of 30 inches because it is at my heel (not above the ankle like the model). I'm mixed about these pants. It is an interesting design, but it isn't gorgeous and the material isn't enough to swoon over. Just meh. It is billowy, loose cut at the legs and high waist. I purchased the grey pant (and matching shirt) and nothing to really write home about. Its OK. I'd likely keep them because of the design. I would not pay full price or even sale price. Maybe clearance price to be honest. For all the things J.Crew is known for, I felt they cut corners on the materials lately by adding more blended wool and polyester.
