Pull-on straight-leg pant in glen plaid English wool

I'll be honest: I was skeptical about the elastic band, and worried that it would make the pants look cheap or sloppy. Boy was I wrong! These pants drape beautifully and fit snugly through the hip and waist without being constricting. Better still, these pants are lined, which means they'll be seeing a lot of action this winter.

Long-time J. Crew shoppers will be thrilled to know that lining is back — at least in these very cute pants. It’s a good thing it is, because the wool is a little rough to the touch. But the glen plaid is beautiful, with really versatile colors. I’ll be honest and say it’s hard for me to get used to pull-on pants that are meant to leave the house, but the elastic waist is hidden at the back and the fit is great.
