Collection full-length wide-leg pant in satin crepe

I bought these in a 2 and they are adorable! I borrowed a jumpsuit from my sister in a similar color while she was pregnant and I've been searching for a replacement item as I love the color so much! These aren't a deep Christmas red, but have a warmer and more orange-y tone to them. So they are pretty versatile for year round use if you want to jazz up your pant selection. I'm looking forward to these with a tank during the spring/summer and sweaters during the fall.

They run long though and true to size. I bought the subtle pink and black. The satin crepe fabric makes them look more expensive that what I really paid for them. They also sit high up the waist. I highly recommend. Tall ladies you must get one.

I fell in love with these pants online and wanted to wear them to my husband’s work party - they seemed PERFECT! As per my habits, I chose “regular” instead of “petite” (I am 5’/101 lbs /24 jean). I often order the regular size (ie I order R 00 instead of P 0) to ensure a slightly looser fit, knowing that I will need to have the item shortened. These pants were a really awkward fit for me. I found them to be more clingy than I prefer (probably because of the fabric) and soooooo long! I didn’t measure, but I felt that I had at least half a pant leg extra. Because of my own weird sizing choices, I hesitate to comment on “overall sizing” - these are probably amazing on a tall person. I suppose my best advice would be to order a “petite” if you fall within the size chart reccomended height range. If I had had time, I would have ordered another “petite” version (but maybe up a size from my usual, to account for the “cling”). I think that these would have been worth the do-over.

I just looked at the pink pants on the model and ordered, they looked so perfect and flowy but the pants that I received in black had a sewn in front and back seam that takes away from the drape of the fabric and the overall look and style of the pant. Really ruins them. And I am concerned about how that seam will look after dry cleaning. The fit is true to size, and the fabric is nice, but being 5”4’ I will be having them hemmed several inches. Had I known about the seam I would not have ordered these pants. Going back to the website I did notice it is somewhat visible in the photos that don’t feature the model.

I took my recently purchased "collection satin wide-leg, full length pant" to a weekend event I was attending, as a possible option for one of the scheduled gatherings. For the Saturday evening dinner I didn't really feel like dressing to the semi-formal dress code that had been suggested, especially after seeing what some of those attending considered business casual (oh, the atrocities!!!), so, I tried on my trousers. Finding them a scooch long, I hemmed them in my hotel room, pulled them back on &paired them with a pair of my Stubbs & Wootton's and a starched chambry shirt that I had ordered at the same time. With the addition of a wide black velvet belt to compliment my shoes, and a black velvet ribbon tied into my long strand of doubled pearls, I glanced in the mirror and felt I'd nailed what I wished to achieve, a dressy tongue-in-cheek look & the comfort level that couldn't be denied!

Love them!! I received many compliments. Great fabric and color! True to size for J Crew—had to shorten since they didn’t come in petite.
