Collection ultra wide-leg cotton pant

Beautiful pants and I struggled on whether or not to keep them in my closet. I would have needed to hem them which wasn't a problem but the fabric was too high maintenance for me. They are cotton and they were of course very wrinkled and I could see them getting wrinkled too much throughout the day. I also wasn't crazy about the elastic waist. I bought the navy striped linen ultra wide pant and prefer the lighter material and easy care fabric to this.

I love wide-legged pants, and these are by far the widest I've seen, and I LOVE them. They are very long - I'm 5'8" and need to wear 4" heels with them, but I'm hesitant to hem them because I'm afraid is might lessen the sweep! I think they run a bit large, as I'm usually an 8, but got these when a 6 popped up, and they fit fine. Please keep making statement pieces like this, J. Crew!

Please bring these pants back, J. Crew - they sold out before I even realized you were selling them. They are the most fabulous pants ever and I need to have a pair in my life!

I just got these in the mail today, opened the package and instantly thought, wow, this is some more material! A lot of it!! They are flawless! Perfection! Oh my.. I could go on. They are seriously chic, but don't even bother if you are the shy type, because these pants demand attention. Sure, the leg is massive in its opening, but in a very cosmopolitan way. They are long. I am 5'8" and put on 4 inch heels and they were perfect. There is no way I can wear them without the 4 inch heels though. I was really afraid they would be see through since they are white, but nope. The material is very substantial and has a great flowy movement. I am so glad I jumped on these the minute I saw them. Get them if you have the opportunity.

These pants have an irresistible high fashion look. The fabric is light enough to wear in warm summer weather, but substantial enough to have body. Be warned:the wide legs have a very exaggerated width, but that's what makes them fabulous. (Think ball gown skirt, but in pants.) Just as J Crew shows tulle skirts with a tee, these pants could be worn casually too. They're cut to lie flat over the hips and tummy, so they don't make me look any bigger than I am. They're true to size: I'm 5'6", 111 lbs and the 4 is just right. The waist is high enough to work with cropped tops and I've tried them with belts of varying width - they all look good, including a 6" wide corset belt. Why a belt? Because I like to cover the elastic waist in the back, which even with something as stylish as these, seems kind of "old lady" to me.
