What customers are saying:
Customers are really enthusiastic about these wide-leg chinos, praising the quality fabric, stylish details, and versatile design that works from casual to dressy occasions. Many noted that the fit is generally flattering but suggested checking sizes—especially for curvy figures or those who prefer a bit more room around the waist—to ensure the best look. A few mentioned that the high waist or unique silhouette takes a little getting used to, yet they still enjoyed the overall feel and craftsmanship of the pants. Overall, customers found these pants to be a terrific, year-round wardrobe staple with a trendy touch.

Let out cuff = AWESOME pants
September 11, 2020Yes, I hacked mine into full length trousers, and I’m 5’11”. The fabric is great, only 69% cotton but looks/feels very natural-fiberesque; has a great weight— maintains structure, hides dimples, but not too heavy. The waist isn’t perfect for me. It’s not super high, which I like, but could be an inch or so lower. It’s also a little too loose in the waist for us big legged gals, but easy to alter. The genius of these pants? They highlight a smaller waist and de-emphasize the saddle bags— EXACTLY right for the pear-shaped! The silhouette is similar to the Frankie wide-leg pant, but For some reason the Frankie actually emphasized the widest part of my thighs— not good. Alas, after looking for and trying on wide leg chinos for months, these are by far the best (as trousers) I’ve found. Note— the sizing varies by color. Navy are a bit more snug than the khaki.

Great for Curves
July 31, 2020The cut of these pants are flattering for those on the curvy side. I love the high waist and extra wide cuffs (although not visible on the model). The cotton blend fabric feels high quality. I’m 5’3” and the length hit above my ankle. I love these so much I went back and bought the navy and light brown.

Love these!
June 25, 2020Based on other reviews I bought a size 6, I'm a small here but never sure if I'm a 4 or a 6 in pants because I'm curvy. The 6 fit a little big but I still love love love them enough that I bought the 4 which fit perfect -a little big in the waist, but fits in the butt/hip and thigh, which is always my concern. anyway, I love these, am tempted to get them in the pink as well. The fabric feels good, washes well and looks polished. I've worn them with sandals and flip flops and flat oxfords and I'm looking forward to wearing them with heels when I leave the house more. Love them!

Sitting A Bit High
June 24, 2020I went ahead and bought the regular length even though I am 5'1". Since I like the full length look. Overall, I like the material and style, but the waist comes up a bit too high for my liking. I am not sure if I am just used to wearing pants that comes below my belly button. But I am not going to return it, I am hoping to get used to it with more wearing. Fabric is top quality, so is craftsmanship, what I would expect from Jcrew.
