Linen-silk pant with jacquard giraffes

I’m so disappointed, the first time I wore these the fabric pulled on the upper part of the leg where the seem was causing strain that looks as if they’ll rip at any moment. I’m confused as to how given the pants are quite lose on me, so it’s certainly not that they were too tight.

These pants are gorgeous. Kate Middleton is one of my style crushes, and I love the wide leg, cropped pants she's been wearing more recently. I think they're feminine, dressy yet playful, and a little quirky. I wore these with a navy sweater and nude pumps and bag, and I felt put together but also comfortable. In terms of sizing, I'm a 6 in skirts and between a 28 and 29 in jeans, and these fit perfectly in a size 8.

Things I love; Fabric, dark, dark navy, subtle giraffe print. Things I don’t like; They are slightly short, even for crop, even for my short 5’5” legs. They came flat, in that they were pressed with the crease on the side seam, causing them to stick out wide all the way down. Not flattering at all. I may try to press so that they hang in the center crease. I went up a size which is probably 100% me gaining weight and not the garment, no pockets on side and I love pockets!
