Bell-sleeve cropped top

I purchased the ivory colour to go with the matching skirt and loved it so when it was on sale I purchased the navy to go with a pair of white linen pants I already had. This top is so easy to wear and feels dressy. It is cropped which is very on trend but with high waisted bottoms there is minimal exposure so still lady like and classy. I am busty and I would say that this top is roomy. It’s not meant to be tight. I purchased medium which is my normal size at Jcrew.

Since the pandemic, I just don’t dress up much but I want to have some personality to my elevated jeans outfits and this fits the bill! The photos don’t do this piece justice - I saw it in the store and immediately liked it but admit I wouldn’t have thought to try it from the website. One of those you have to see it pieces that also looks very high end. It’s the perfect canvas for layered necklaces and a few bracelets and has ‘extra’ details like graceful wide sleeves. Maybe most importantly, it’s cropped modestly…so you can wear with high waisted jeans and show just a smidge. Going to pair with light taupe wedge mules or nice sneakers. I got the cream color in my usual j crew size.

Sorry to say but J Crew quality went south significantly. This blouse is very poor fit and even worse fabric. Looks very cheap for amount of money they want for it. I think they should get people who know how to design clothes, then all the old customers might come back...

Perfect not-too-cropped top for high waisted skirts or pants. I am high-waisted so it doesn't show skin until I bend over. 5'7" 125 pounds, small fit TTS. Lovely drape, softest ramie ever. Perfect for spring and summer evenings.
